Conveniently located in Hunterdon County, SGL Charitable Society has an established place of worship located at 142 Perryville Road, Hampton, NJ 08827. Popularly known as Satsang Ghar, the Sangat congregates here for weekly Satsangs, Gurpurabs, Festivals and occasions like Blood Donation Drives, Universal Amity Day, etc.
The service commences with members in attendance reciting verses from the Sikh holy scripture, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Thereafter, the religious leader of the organization (either in person or video recordings) preaches and provides in-depth analysis of selected verses from the holy scripture. The members share a meal together at the end of the service. Although members are not obligated to contribute, many make a voluntary donation which is used for day to day operations and maintenance of the facilities.
